SkeeRide 2 Build Kits (Original+Polar)

Get out in the snow in style this winter with a SkeeRide 2 3D printable RC snowmobile built with the help of one of our handy build kits. We have different kinds of kits to help you build your own 3D printable masterpiece including fasteners, bearings, servos, belt drives, motors and more! Our kits come with the pieces required to build either the original Skidoo inspired version of the SkeeRide 2 or if you would prefer you can also build the Polaris inspired version the Skeeride 2 Polar.

Each Fastener Kit comes with a lot more than just fasteners! We include all the screws, nuts, smooth rod, threaded rod, rod ends, springs, track pins, and ball studs required to build your new SkeeRide 2 with many extras included. All screws are stainless steel as the nature of a snowmobile means that it will likely come into contact with moisture. Most of the included screws are cylinder head but we also include some round head screws for the parts of the design that require those. 

Kits with Bearings will also include a complete set of bearings for the SkeeRide 2. All bearings for this kit are high quality stainless steel rubber sealed bearings (2RS) with Z2 precision rating for low noise.  This kit includes:

5 - MR128 (8x12x3.5) bearings
2 - MR105 (5x10x4) bearings
4 - MR83 (3x8x3) bearings

For kits that include a Servo we also include one 12KG Digital Servo (MG996R) with all metal gears which works well for the SkeeRide2 model and is the designer's recommended servo.

For each kit that includes a Belt Drive we will include a complete belt drive set-up for the SkeeRide 2 which includes:
1 - GT2 Timing belt - 10mm wide, 228mm long
1 - 60T Timing Pulley - 8mm bore, 10mm wide
1 - 16T Drive Pulley - 5mm bore, 10mm wide
1 - Toothless Idler Pulley - 3mm bore, 10mm wide

Each kit that includes Premium Motor+ESC will include one Castle Creations combo kit including a Monster X ESC and 2200kv brushless sensored motor. This motor and ESC combo is the designer's recommended pairing for this model.

Each kit that includes BudgetMotor+ESC will include one Surpass Hobby 3674 Brushless Motor 2250kv with 120A ESC Sensorless Combo and one Surpass Hobby KK ESC Series LED Programing Card. This is a less expensive option for the Skeeride 2 but it will result in lower performance as the motor is sensorless.
